Diagnostic radiography is an allied health profession which uses cutting edge technology to produce diagnostic images in a clinical setting. After completing this programme, graduates are eligible to register with the HCPC and practise as a Diagnostic Radiographer. Our Diagnostic Radiography BSc (Hons) course scored 93% for teaching and 100% for academic support in the National Student Survey 2024 (NSS 24). Our medical sciences courses were also ranked 1st in the UK for academic support (NSS 24). Students applying for this course may be eligible for the NHS Learning Support Fund, which provides a non-repayable training grant of £5,000 per academic year. You’ll learn to use a range of imaging techniques to assess injuries and illnesses. We’ll help you develop the skills and adaptability you need to deliver high quality patient-centred care in a range of settings. You’ll also learn about communication and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
