Today's students need a business degree that will prepare them for employment in a variety of settings and across a variety of sectors. The Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, Banking and Real Estate program was created with guidance from some of the state's top leaders in banking, real estate and finance, with an eye on preparing students to make their mark in today's leading business sectors. A student pursuing this degree will receive professional training in financial principles, practices and promotion; financial and banking analytics; operation and contribution of community and securities markets; investment and risk concepts; banking management; short-term and long-term financing for firms; real estate theory and principles; and expansion, consolidation and merger of enterprises. Career opportunities abound for work in a finance department or to work as a specialist in the areas of budget, investment, or credit and financial control. Professional opportunities will be found in banks, savings and loan associations, investment firms, brokerage houses, the real estate sector, or financial planning in the public sector, among others.
