The Bachelor of Arts degree is awarded through the College of Arts & Sciences, while all of our other degrees are awarded through the School of Engineering and Computer Science. The Ba degree with a major in computer science provides a traditional liberal arts education with a solid set of core courses in computer science. These courses provide the foundation necessary for a career in computer science. There are two concentrations in the BA, computer science and/or a minor from an approved field. The BA degree requires a minimum of 124 hours with 39-52 hours in computer science.
