The Family Nurse Practitioner Track at Regis College is for students who want to specialize in family-focused care. Students learn to provide services that treat the family as a unit, from health assessment and treatment of diseases to primary care. The program offers registered nurses the opportunity to advance their skills in the areas of pharmacology, pathophysiology, and health assessment with nursing theory, process, and research. Extensive focus in adult, geriatric, pediatric, and women's health primary care ensure a well-rounded experience. The curriculum meets the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) criteria for certification as a family nurse practitioner.
