Southern Utah University’s roots are deeply embedded in the study of agriculture. Students in Southern Utah University’s agricultural sciences and industries program study the latest science behind farming and apply that education first hand on the university’s 800-acre farm and 2,800-acre mountain property. Between the strong reputation of the Southern Utah University program, the internship opportunities, and the hands-on nature of the program, the agricultural sciences and industries degree has earned an excellent track record for job placement of graduates in the agriculture field. Students may complete the Bachelor program in Agriculture or may elect to complete an Associate of Applied Science - Equine Studies or an Associate of Applied Science - Agriculture - Livestock Farm Management.
