On this course you will be trained to prevent, diagnose, treat and rehabilitate injuries expertise that is essential across all sports, and all levels from amateur to elite. Students on the course will get hands-on practical experience, learning from the expert staff who teach on the course. The course includes extensive practical and laboratory-based work to help develop your understanding of human anatomy, the biomechanics and physiology of the human body, and the pathology of injury and dysfunction. The course utilises a range of contemporary approaches to assessing learning, whilst also seeking to develop key practitioner skills, specialist expertise, and interdisciplinary approaches. Delivery modes include: seminars, workshops, practice sessions, manual therapy and practice labs, placement opportunities peer and expert observations, online learning and laboratory sessions. Students on the course are required to complete a number of practical placement hours offering the opportunity to learn and develop in some fantastic applied practice environments. You may gain experience in our on-site clinical and sport performance centres.
