The consecutive Master‘s study programme Smart Mobility (M.Sc.) is application-oriented and provides students an extensive knowledge in the field of smart mobility, that is a multidisciplinary area that focuses on using technology and innovation to improve transportation and mobility solutions. This includes the study of various components of intelligent mobility systems, such as connected vehicles, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), smart infrastructures, and emerging trends such as autonomous vehicles and electromobility.
Graduates acquire an extensive, detailed and critical understanding of the knowledge necessary to design and engineer electric and autonomous vehicles, considering safety and reliability standards. Furthermore, they are able to acquire new knowledge independently as well as to develop scientific issues and to work on them basing on the current state of the art, in order to develop innovative solutions, do analysis and optimization of transportation systems to improve efficiency, sustainability, and safety.
