The consecutive Master‘s study programme DevOps (M.Sc.) is application-oriented and provides students an extensive knowledge in the fields of Developments and Operations. DevOps is an interdisciplinary field that combines software development, operations, and automation. Students will gain a deep understanding of DevOps principles and best practices. Throughout their studies, they get an insight in areas such as continuous integration, continuous delivery, automation, and collaboration between development and operations teams. In order to develop the necessary expertise in the DevOps field, students will acquire an extensive methodological knowledge by learning tools and techniques for automating software development, testing, and deployment processes. Furthermore, students will work with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker and Kubernetes). You will learn how to deploy and manage applications in cloud environments and how to leverage containers for efficient software deployment and scaling, as these competences are highly valuable in the DevOps field.
