Students who obtain the four-year Construction Science and Management degree (CSM) have a wide range of professional construction industry career opportunities in the office and the field. The Department of Construction Science maintains a close partnership with the construction industry through its Construction Industry Advisory Council (CIAC). In addition to providing a significant number of scholarships, sponsoring service projects, mentorship, speaking in classes, and offering part-time and full-time employment, the CIAC also sponsors a variety of social events: mixers, tailgating, cook-off, sports, competitions, and field trips, among others.
