This three-year undergraduate degree combines the study of business and law in equal measure, giving you a dual perspective on how organisations are governed, managed and regulated. You’ll tackle core legal subjects (such as criminal law, foundations of law, contract, torts and company law) alongside core business modules (including management theory and practice, marketing in a digital age, economics, project management and strategic concepts) from Year 1, with growing flexibility through optional modules in later years. The programme emphasises “learning by doing” from day one — case studies, real-world problem solving, immersive events (such as HACK and IMPACT at Penryn), workshops in advocacy, negotiation and team work — and is designed to build key transferable skills such as critical and independent thinking, communication, project-planning and commercial awareness. The setting at the Penryn Campus offers a close-knit teaching community and collaboration between the Exeter Law School and the Exeter Business School.
