This one‑year full‑time (or two‑year part‑time) master’s programme on the Streatham Campus is designed as a conversion route for graduates from many backgrounds who want to become proficient data scientists or statistical analysts.You’ll build foundational mathematical and statistical skills (including working with bias, uncertainty and data governance) alongside practical programming in Python and R—even if you have no former coding experience.Core modules cover topics such as working with data, statistical modelling, data science applications, data‑science ethics and communication, and you finish with a substantial data‑driven project.The degree positions you to extract insights from large and complex datasets, make ethical decisions about data use, and enter roles such as data scientist, business intelligence analyst, professional statistician or it can be a stepping stone for further research.
