Think creatively at every scale, from the logo printed on the buttons of your shirt to the billboards soaring above Times Square. PBA’s graphic arts/graphic design major encourages you to explore your passion for creating, recognize true perceptions of your work in the world, and exercise your innate gifts to honor God. This major can lead to a B.A. in either Graphic Arts or Graphic Design—you’ll decide based on your goals for your career and your life. Develop robust skills in designing and generating digital imagery for use in advertisements, packaging, film and video, social media content, website design, and more. The graphic design major combines art fundamentals with a broad basis in digital design and elective opportunities in other forms of art, allowing you to sharpen your style and practice your distinct creative voice. This 120-credit-hour program requires a minor or additional major, along with Faith, Roots, and Reason general education courses, core art and graphic arts classes, and at least four elective graphic arts courses.
