Unlike other schools’ programs, Hiram’s psychology major program near Akron incorporates actual research into its methods and statistics course. Students learn to use and interpret research and data – skills critical to success after graduation. Students complete this course in the on-campus research lab, which is equipped with SPSS Statistical software, videotaping equipment, facilities for the study of several animal species, and more. One way students can explore different career paths within our psychology degree program is by conducting classwork and completing internships with different organizations the psychology department has partnered with.
