The B.S. in Biology prepares students for a number of science-based careers. The program includes biological, chemical, and physical science courses as well as advanced life sciences coursework and research. Students also have the option of a pre-med concentration designed to prepare them for admission to medical school after graduation. Graduates go on to work in a variety of fields, including medical research, conservation, public health, and veterinary medicine. Jobs include biologist, forensic biologist, veterinarian, doctor, dentist, and nurse.
